Should Dr. Henry Morgentaler be awarded the Order of Canada?

Probably off topic but I came across a websites that is propagating against Dr. Morgentaler. I do not know how much influence this particular site has, but I find it interesting that it is listed as an "alert" as if opposing this is the most dire thing the the world. Do they seriously have nothing better to do?

That is seriously one of the funniest things I have read. As for him "seeking" the Order - that isn't what happens. One is nominated. One doesn't "seek" it out.

Sigh.

It's a lot easier to get organized when you have the entire patriarchal megatheocorporatocracy on your side.  I blame.

And I think Dr. Morgentaler should get not only the Order of Canada, but some kind of extra-special merit badge on top of it.  A man who will go to prison for the rights of women - women who aren't even "his" women - is, unfortunately enough, a very rare and special person.
