I was just over at Shakesville, reading this article (part 9 in Melissa's impossible beauty standards series). I clicked on the Real Doll link, and found my way to this disturbing website: **TRIGGERS** h ttp://www.honeydolls.jp/en/gallery/kaze.html It's a Japanese company called HoneyDolls, and their "Kaze" model literally looks like a ten year old girl (she has breasts, but they look as out of place on that body as they would on a ten year old boy). The gallery of images they have to advertise this doll features her posed in a school uniform. There's even one with a lollipop. I am absolutely astounded that this is legal. |

I suppose the pervs' rationalization is that a sex doll built to look like a child will prevent child sex abuse by providing pedophiles with a release or something - not that a doll like this would normalize the sexualization of children.

I am so glad that I don't want to have more children. The way the P seems to be headed is "sexualize and/or rape everyone that isn't an adult male". I would be scared shitless to bring a child into this culture, especially a girl child.

That is one of the most frightening things I've ever seen. I'd be disturbed by seeing a RealDoll anyway, but one that looks like a child, and in some of those photos, I mean, GAKKK!! (The banana was worse than the lollipop, to me.)

I don't think the police would be able to do anything. I doubt the police would do anything (not that they couldn't) because my bet is that many of these many of the "buyers" of these dolls are also in possession of child pornography and perform other violence against children. |
